Hidden Gem inside the Muse building on Central and E McDowell. The menu has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as chicken and shrimp. The Sichuan Style Eggplants had amazing flavor and were crispy. I could eat that all day! The Garlic Sizzling Tofu had a great presentation and was very tasty, also crispy. The Hon Bao was my favorite, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Also got the Cantonese Black Dragon with shrimp. This had great flavor and was cooked well. Overall, the portions are modest, but the prices are fair, the service outstanding and quick, and the flavors left a lasting impression. Highly recommend!

We went 15 mins before closing time and staff and chef were gaing dinner but as soon as we walked in the service was prompt and polite. Ambience was slightly upscale and we were the only 3 customers in the restaurant. Did we get lucky with both lunch and dinner today or wot!? The food was great. We ordered a couple of dishes Steamed Spinach Bao Bun (4.5/5) - hands down the best vegan bao I've had, perhaps could have done with a wee bit more salt but with the dipping sauce it was amazing Sizzling Garlic Tofu (4/5) : the flavor of ginger stood out nicely while still allowing us the vivid flavors of the sauce and onions House Dynamite (3.5/5) : my experience with most vegan Asian fusion food is that the taste of the soy and ginger essentially overpowers any and all other flavors. But this dish stood out with the gentle flavors of the myriad vegetables and the slight tartness of the sauce blending subtly. This would have been a 4 but my wife found it a bit too tart so had to shave a half star off :( Phoenix is turning out to be a vegan foodie heaven!!!

Foodies!!! You must try this absolutely ridiculously wonderful! This is a small quaint spot. Very cozy seating and vibes. We enjoyed black widow cider from original sin. The soup gyoza was the perfect appetizer full of lemongrass bursts. The sizzling shrimp was a real treat. It literally comes out sizzling. Bursting with pineapple and spices. I also ordered a side of chicken that was so delicious. The lemongrass noodle soup was wonderful, I added tofu! Chef Jonny is absolutely incredible! Our server Jimi was an absolute doll! You must go asap! Wonderful experience!

My husband had just finished a routine outpatient diagnostic procedure. I will spare you the details, but the area of his body rhymes with stolen. He was starving after fasting for a day. We were in the mood for Asian and, given that his doctor asked him to avoid spicy foods, this establishment seemed gentle enough. Especially for one so groggy. I rolled us over and it was empty; we'd gotten there just before they closed for the afternoon. The server seemed delighted to help us settle into a comfy spot and order. It was just what we needed. We ordered two clay pot meals. I do not remember their names, but one of them had a Polynesian sweet-and-sour bent. The other was more savory. They were both comforting. We felt so pampered, having the place all to ourselves and we found the furnishings and just the overall atmosphere appealing.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime before a visit to the Phoenix Art Museum (directly across Central). Food was delightful and the server was so friendly and welcoming. It was our first visit but definitely won't be our last! Flavors in the Chicken bao tacos were bright, fresh and had just the right amount of spice.

We have been on the hunt of peppercorn noodles in phoenix for a very long time and finally came across Mifan! We had the spicy udon as well as the garlic sizzling tofu. The spicy udon was absolutely delicious and I wish we just ordered multiple of those because the garlic sizzling tofu was not as fulfilling. The service was pretty good, they were attentive throughout. I felt that they were not fully able to answer questions about the menu though. Lastly, I loved the ambiance, we came pretty early but it became crowded later in the evening even on a weekday. It was open airy with great decor, definitely my type of vibe. Will be back for the udon noodles!

The food was really good here!! My friends and I ordered a couple of items for the table to share and we were excited about how much vegetarian/vegan items were available on the menu. The bao buns were nice and crispy and came with a tangy dipping sauce. The tofu in the main dishes also had a battered layer that was pretty good. The restaurant is smaller but it was a nice space and didn't feel over crowded.
